Train to visit the Sherman

The Sherman Theater will be the host for the rock band Train, on Fri., March 26. With Grammy-Award-winning songs, the band has made its mark on music history. Train was formed in San Francisco in 1994. Members include vocalist Pat Monahan, guitarist Jimmy Stafford and drummer Scott Underwood.

Men's and Women's track and field move on to 2010 PSAC Championships with high hopes

East Stroudsburg University men and women’s track and field showed what they were made of this past weekend at the Keough Invitational at Haverford College. Senior Trina Carito came out on top with wins in the triple jump, finished third in the 55m hurdles and high jump, and was on the winning 4x400m relay team including senior Emily Hollick, freshman Lauren Ventrella and junior Jasmine Johnson.

Sean Kingston

Kingston concert postponed.

ESU Campus Activities Board's Sean Kingston concert is canceled for this evening, Thursday, March 4, 2010. Kingston was deemed unable to perform late last night after contracting the flu. A high fever and antibiotics have left Kingston unable to fly. Brian Tanhauser, CAB's Concert Chair, stated, "Due to the unforeseen circumstances of Kingston's illness, we had to postpone the concert to March 17. Full story

ESU takes down No. 5 Kutztown

The rankings didn't matter to the Warrior wrestling team Feb. 16 when they took down Kutztown University. Coming into the match, the KU Golden Bears were nationally ranked 18th in the NCAA Division II and 5th in the NCAA Division II East Region, while the Warriors were ranked below them in 7th in the East region.
