Art Association paints wooden paanels covering the Depot's windows.

The Dansbury Depot caught fire early Oct. 26, and it is currently out of business. The windows are boarded up with plywood panels, and with the generous donation by Cramer's, the ESU Art Association will be painting them. By painting the panels, the Art Association is hoping to raise the spirits of the community and show the burnt building in a new light.

The Art Association is asking anyone to join in. The ESU club is working with Henry Pyatt, the downtown manager and part of the EastBurg Community Alliance. Thanks to him, the group was able to get 10 gallons of primer. The priming took place on Thursday, Nov. 12.

The date for painting and designing the panels has yet to be announced, but for more information and photographs, you can check the ESU Art Association group out on Facebook. Contact Ilka Ivanova, president, at 610.597.1757.
