There’s no denying it. After 20 years in the biz, Moe really is just getting started. This progressive rock/jam band can still draw a crowd like no other, and on Wednesday, Jan. 27, that’s exactly what they did at the Sherman Theater in downtown Stroudsburg.
Over 1,200 people flooded the theater to see this act as they played their classic hits along with new music for over four hours. Moe got their start close to three decades ago and have produced 17 albums since then. The crowd enjoyed some of their latest albums, Dr. Stan's Prescription, Volumes 1 & 2, and Warts & All, Volume VI. Their music has come a long way from some of their original releases, like the fan favorite Tin Cans and Car Tires in 1998.
While their list of albums is staggering, nothing is quite as impressive as seeing this band live. They truly feed off the audience and put on a show that is an overall experience. Each song becomes completely different from how you’ve ever heard it before. They truly bring the music to life. It's no wonder their fans have stayed dedicated to them for over 20 years, many of them swapping stories of past concerts and tours.
If you’re a fan of Moe, try checking out Lotus on Feb. 14, or Umphreys McGee, Feb. 24 at the Sherman. You can order tickets online at ShermanTheater.com or over the phone at 570-420-2808.
